Ghana.

PURPOSE.

POSSIBILITY.

Rooted in ghana

As a first-generation Ghanaian American, my connection to Ghana began long before my work there. I grew up surrounded by the culture, from the language and food to the music, traditions, stories, and history that shaped my understanding of where I come from.

That connection has grown into something deeper: a responsibility to remain connected, give back, and contribute to Ghana’s future. What started as a personal connection to my heritage has become a lifelong commitment to serving people, creating opportunity, and using my experiences across both Ghana and the United States to make a meaningful impact.

SERVICE. CONNECTION. OPPORTUNITY. PARTNERSHIP. IMPACT.

SERVICE. CONNECTION. OPPORTUNITY. PARTNERSHIP. IMPACT.

01 | Where It Started

It Started With Service.

Before the partnerships and larger initiatives, there was simply a desire to serve. What began with personal acts of giving grew into a deeper commitment to Ghana and its communities.

  • Food & Donation Drives

  • Community Outreach

  • School Visits & Workshops

  • Youth Keynotes & Forums

  • Scholarship Support

  • Health & Wellness Outreach

Small acts of service became the foundation for something much bigger.

02 | Where we are going

Building for the Future.

The work continues to grow through deeper partnerships, stronger institutions, and initiatives designed to create sustainable opportunity.

  • Government & Institutional Engagement

  • Education & Workforce Development

  • Corporate & Nonprofit Partnerships

  • Diaspora Engagement

  • Strategic Partnerships & Global Engagement

Today, that journey includes engaging leaders across sectors and serving as the T.D. Jakes Foundation’s primary staff liaison for Ghana, connecting relationships and opportunities to advance long-term impact.
